It produces the UMAPet range of bi-axially oriented polyester films on two state-of-the-art production lines. Estoplast engineering plastics, a range of high performance thermoplastic resins, include the crystalline, amorphous and specialty polymers like polyesters, polyamides, and polycarbonates. Through modernization, it has started manufacturing metallized, heat sealable, and directly embossed films. Custom manufacturing of value-added products like hydantoin molecule, halogenated succinimides, ethylene ureas, amino isoubutyric acid, substituted triazoles, and benzodiazepines are offered at its integrated manufacturing facilities located in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttaranchal. As part of is modernization plans in FY07, it installed a co-extruder system in the second film line, which enabled the production of high value-added products. Cost reduction initiatives included installation of an uninterrupted power supply system and modernization of the first film line. Ester International (USA) and Ester Europe GmbH are subsidiary companies.
