State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ) is a subsidiary of State Bank of India. It was established in 1963. The bank`s main area of operation is Rajasthan with presence at all important centers in the country. To augment Tier-II capital in 2007, the bank floated unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible long term subordinated debts (Series-V) aggregating Rs 5,000 million and another issue of upper tier II (Series-I) capital aggregating Rs 1,500 million on private placement basis. The bank has a tie-up with SBI Life for life insurance products, National Insurance Company for non-life insurance, SBI Mutual Fund for mutual fund business and SBI Card for credit card business.
