India Share Market Timings
It is very important that one knows the opening and closing of the markets in India as maximum action in market takes place with in first half an hour of the day or the last hour of the day. Just note that Indian markets are open on all days of the week for trading less Saturdays and Sundays and holidays declared by the Exchange in advance. The market timings of the equities segment are:
Pre Open Session
09:00 - 09:15 AM IST
Market Open: 09:15 AM IST
Market Close : 3:30 PM IST (The Closing Session is held between 15.50 hours and 16.00 hours).
