Chemfab Alkalis (CHEMALK) was incorporated in June 1983 as a group company of Dr. Rao Holdings in the Chemical industry manufacturing products. The company is promoted by Titanium Equipment and Anode Manufacturing Company. CHEMALK manufactures caustic soda lye, liquid chlorine, hydrogen gas, hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite and barium sulphate. Chemfab has a manufacturing plant in the union territory of Pondicherry. The membrane hitec division manufactures water purifying machinery, packaged drinking water, team energy herbal water and hollow fibre ultrafiltration membranes. CHEMALK is based at Chennai, India. Financials The company announced rise of 59.17% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 26.90 million, while total income climbed 25.87% y-o-y basis to Rs 276.40 million for the quarter ended December 2010.
