48 Indian Cities to be Developed as Solar Cities

This is a good initiative as solar city aims at minimum 10% reduction in projected demand of conventional energy at the end of five years, through a combination of enhancing supply from renewable energy sources in the city and energy efficiency measures. Below starred cities are those for which in principal approval has been given and we hope to see 48 cities to be developed as Solar Cities in India. Starred are those cities for which solar projects and money is already approved.
