It was incorporated on Jun. 22, 1962 as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company on Feb. 07, 1990. Earlier known as Patel Roadways, it got its present name when it Patel On-Board Couriers on Oct. 28, 2006. The company belongs to the House of Patels, one of the largest logistics conglomerates in Asia. Patel Integrated Logistics and Wall Street Finance are other group companies. The company provides unified solutions through door- to-door express cargo service, surface transport, air and sea transportation, and offers warehousing and secondary distribution services. It operates through its eight product divisions including Patel Roadways which handles Patel Retail, Patel FTL and Patel Sundry (LTL); POBC Domestic; POBC International; Patel Airfreight Domestic; Patel Airfreight International and Patel Logistics. Patel Roadways has a surface transport network that spans 500 stations countrywide and moves cargo worth Rs 120 billion annually. POBC, a leader in the domestic co-loading business, operates 300 flights and carries 100,000 Kilograms of courier materials everyday. POBC Domestic with its network of 105 branches across India is the largest neutral wholesale consolidator of courier consignments having 80% market share of the domestic on-board courier in India. With over 200,000 sq. ft. of warehousing space, Patel Logistics offers services in warehousing and distribution, manufacturing logistics, C&F management, IT solutions and services apart from other valuable services in cargo and vendor management. multi-model logistics business with the network of nearly 450 branches delivering its services to over 2000 locations across India. The company has introduced bevy of Logistics Support & Services throughout it`s network. It has also launched its Premium Door to Door Express Delivery Services called Patel Retail in order to cover Express Door Delivery Small Package Business. The services provided by the company include Surface Transport (Less Than Truck Loads and Full Truck Loads), Patel Retail-Door to Door Solutions, Warehousing, On-Board Couriers, International Freight Forwarding and Domestic Cargo Consolidation.The company also renders Money Transfer Services as a sub agent of Wall Street Finance Ltd.
