Jayant Agro-Organics (JAOL) is an oleo-chemical company in the castor-based specialty chemicals industry. The company was incorporated on May 7, 1992 The company manufactures castor oils and other products of castor derivatives used in agriculture foods, textiles, paper, plastic and rubber, chemicals, perfumeries, cosmetics, paints, inks and adhesives, lubricants, electronics and tele-communication and pharmaceuticals. The company is 100% export oriented and has a modernized unit in Palanpur, Gujarat for castor oil production and solvents extraction benefits with a refining capacity of 50 MT/day; and a castor oil derivatives manufacturing unit in Baroda, Gujarat with a refining capacity of 40 MT/day.
The company has its own R&D facilities equipped with a multi-purpose pilot plant having facilities for carrying out scale-up of various reactions like amidification, dehydration, distillation, esterification, epoxidation, saponification, ..etc. Ihsedu Agroche, a 100% subsidiary of the company, has a modernized state-of-the-art crushing facility in Palanpur, Gujarat with a crushing capacity of 350 MT of oil per day and has a solvent extraction plant in Banaskantha, Gujarat. Products manufactured are castor oil commercial grade, pale pressed grade, first special grade, extra pale grade, neutralised grade, and pharma grade. The company has won awards like the Highest Exporter of Castor Meal from Indian Solvent Extractors Association for 2005 and 2006. With a strong distribution network and quality conforming to international standards, the company exports about 75% of its products to more than 40 countries worldwide.
