Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has been working proactively and it had made a limit of 100 sms to be sent per mobile to keep spam under control.
However now TRAI had received representations and now limit has been extended to 200 SMS per day per SIM card limit.
It can only be sincerely hoped that sms pack per month be revised to 6000 sms per month as earlier the telecom companies had changed the sms pack to 3000 sms per month.
