Carnation Nutra Analogue Foods (CARNATIO) the manufacturer of Nutralite India`s largest selling table margarine. Incorporated in 1994, it got its present name on Mar. 31, 1996. The company offers the health conscious consumer low calorie and dietetic products, functional and health foods, and modified dairy substitutes. The brand Nutralite is a healthy cholesterol-free butter substitute and is the largest selling table margarine in India. It is cholesterol-free, does not contain hydrogenated fats, and is sold in retail and in customized packs to bulk/institutional buyers like hotels, caterers, bakers, and other clients. In 2006-2007, a variant of Nutralite was launched in retail under the brand Nutralite Premium. The manufacturing plant is located at Ahmedabad in Gujarat with an annual installed capacity of 5,500 MT. Financials The company announced rise of 10.46% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 84.50 million, while total income increased 0.46% y-o-y basis to Rs 893.80 million for the quarter ended June 2011.
