It has been confirmed that it is a matter of time that HDFC bank will take over DCB bank and now final modalities are being worked to arrive at the swap ratio. HDFC is slowly increasing its stake in HDFC and has bought 4 million shares of DCB.
Last we remember HDFC bank undertook merger was with Bank of Punjab and definitely the shareholders of Bank of Punjab will not regret the merger.
