Sugar stocks rallied on the bourses after an Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) gave a nod for additional 5 lakh tonnes of sweetener exports. With this approval, the government has allowed one million tonne of sugar exports since April. Market breadth was positive, 1,984 stocks advanced for 852 stocks which declined.
The shares of aviation companies such as Jet Airways, Kinghfisher Airlines and SpiceJet are in demand as domestic traffic grew 14.8% in May compared to the same period last year.
Oil Companies:- After putting it on hold for long time, the Empowered Group Of Ministers (EGoM), at a late night meeting on Friday, finally took the bold step of hiking the diesel price by Rs 3 per litre, kerosene by Rs 2 per litre and domestic LPG by Rs 50 per cylinder.
