We all know that Maran family is under pressure due to 2G spectrum scam and that was the reason that Sun TV Network plunged 28 percent to a 52-week low on reports of a CBI inquiry and same has been instituted post BJP allegation that the company, belonging to Maran's brother Kalanithi Maran, is an indirect beneficiary in the 2G spectrum allocation scam. This is a direct loss of one company because of its own actions.
Now another company in form of Rival Raj Television Network climbed today 6.6 percent on expectations that the company will benefit from growing woes of Sun TV. Now this we call as the benefit of other company by virtue of woes of a company in similar segment.
SpiceJet, another company controlled by the Maran family, slumped 16 percent and thus can we expect a similar bout of movement in other airways.

In Politics there is no permanent friend or foe and these are temporary phases which will get over by virtue of the political power being enjoyed the promoters of the company. Thus do not just base your investment decision on these reports as very soon the effect will be negated.
