Deepavali is a festival which is celebrated with a lot of fan and fervour in India and some people call it as Diwali in India. Moreover the festival is associated with Maa Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth.

Thus the said festival holds a lot of significance at BSE and NSE as it is also an altar of making money far a number of traders in stock market.

We have tried to analyse the impact of Diwali festival and has come to one conclusion that post Diwali there has been significant gains as compared to pre Diwali gains and dat for BSE has been used.
