1. IPL has become the biggest money spinner and is the biggest cash cow for BCCI. Obviously the experiment is a case study of success being created in such a short span of time. This is secongd year of IPL and will be played wef April 18 to May 24, 2009. It is definitely a failure for India as an economy as more than US$100 million is likely to be injected into South Africa’s economy. In India alone more than 200 million people likely to watch this tournament. South Africa cricket board is most impressed with the fact that it has been chosen to host the IPL as it gives them enhanced credibility as a nation which speaks of security and tourism will take off in the nation.

Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deccan Chargers.
