1. Stocks sale and Purchase as per technical analysis of stock market of India: BSE Sensex support exists at 8947-8845 and BSE resistance exists at 9575-9750. NSE Nifty support exists at 2685-2404 and NSE resistance exists at 2812. Market is down till Sensex do not move above 9800-10000 levels. Globally we may see another sell off as the results of Alcoa is in offing which was recently instrumental in a number of layoff.

4. Satyam Fraud Update: BSE removed Satyam Computer Services from its benchmark Sensex and replaced  it with Sun Pharma with effect from 12 January 2009. Over the weekend, the government replaced the board of directors and elected three members to Satyam's board, HDFC chief Deepak Parekh, former Nasscom president Kiran Karnik and former SEBI member C Achuthan.
