1. A few precautions while undertaking online transcations for banks can help an individual to save the hard earned money from malicious hackers who have the ability to steal the money from your account.
(a) One must avoid using the public terminals like cyber cafe.
(b) One must type the web address for himself and should avoid using the stored links. See that the web page link address has https:// and a lock sign is visible at right hand bottom corner of the page which shows a secured site.
(c) One must log out by clicking the said LOGOUT button from the main page after the completion of online banking transaction.
(d) One must make it a habit to change the password regularily and it must be a unique combination.
(e) Do not let your password known to any individual or by mail or over telephone or to any bank official.
