(a) Price tag too high i.e. a neat packet of Rs 31,000 for the 8 GB memory model, and Rs 36,100 for 16 GB model and thus middle class will be devoid of this marvelous technology.
(b) Airtel and Vodafone are not giving any subsidy on phone.

(a) Airtel and Vodafone can make this phone available around $200 as AT&T is doing in USA as it is able to garner money by tying customers with its annual plan.
(b) So as a business strategy one can make the phone availability at low rates and thereafter these telecom giants can recover cost from a dedicated user who will not leave network by virtue of quality of services being offered. Now option is with them i.e. whether to get all golden eggs at once or let the golden egg give an egg every day for long term. So let us be not myopic and let not the cost be a hinderance for progress of a nation.
