1. West Bengal is saddled with communism and I am sad to state that the state is using concept of Communism in a wrong manner. In China communism is being used to grow a state whereas West Bengal is using the same to avoid work and is getting compensated under the umbrella of so called Communism. Though I may appear harsh but it is a reality that during the decade of 60s West Bengal was the granary of nation and was supplying all items to the nation ranging from a pin to a locomotive at Chitranjan. It had all the best factories and to name a few ranging from Dunlop (Tyre) to largest tea industries.
2. However now West Bengal state is in a pathetic state as it is in grip of unions which is doing more harm to the state rather than bringing any good. All industries shifted from West Bengal to other states and even Calcutta stock exchange is also not able to do justice to its name despite it having the potential of rising and becoming similar to Bombay stock exchange and National stock exchange. I feel sorry for West Bengal that Tata Motors has also expressed its wish to leave the state and thus I can only say that a "Nation gets what its citizens deserve".
3. People have to change their concept and attitude towards life because if one goes out and tell their farmers that look this is a hybrid variety seed and it will help them get more produce. Listening to this discourse they will doubt your intention and they will be reluctant to lap the offer stating that this farming practice is in vogue since generations and if one goes to Punjab and offers the same hybrid variety seed and the individual will be welcomed with open arms and same seed is put in practice with zeal, zest and enthusiasm.
4. I am not criticizing any body but I am concerned being a responsible citizen and want to use this forum to bring this fact to notice to one and all that even if we can make some difference for India as a nation, than we have achieved our goal as "One should not ask what nation has given me but should ask What I can do for the nation" and that will be our true spirit of democracy and same has been followed by USA and thus it is a force to reckon with and is always able to shape the opinion of the world.
5. West Bengal has a potential to rectify its follies as it has a sea route and in coming times sea route is going to dictate the strengths of a State by virtue of trade potential.
