1. It is a time for celebration for Indian ladies as gold is at its almost 3 months low and 24 carat gold is touching Rs 11000 per Tola i.e. Indian equivalent of 10 grams. I envisage strengthening of price of gold in coming months due to number of festivals lining up. However these days it does not make that huge impact as prices of gold is being determined at international level.

I also liked Tanishq scheme where one can pay a fixed sum ranging from Rs 500 to any upward monthly fixed price to Tanishq for 11 months and the 12 month EMI is paid by Tanishq themselves and thus effective rate of interest is approximately 15.55%. One can use accumulated amount to buy gold from Tanishq.
4. One must understand that price of gold is inversely proportional to dollar price and since dollar is appreciating, thus gold price is declining. Thus keep an eye on dollar price to know the likely trend in gold rate world wide.
