1. Infosys started in a 10x10 room 27 years ago.
2. NR Narayanamurthy is the man who started Infosys. His wife Sudha Murthy gave him Rs 10,000 to start the business. Mrs Sudha Murthy worked with TATA.
3. Infosys was being bought by anxious investors for USD 1 million approximately; however the offer was unanimously turned down in 1990.
4. Stock options was Infosys brain child and was thus able to retain talent.
5. Infosys built India’s first software campus.
6. NR Narayanamurthy defines a person as a successful man if people around him or her have a smile on their face in his or her presence.
