1. Recap: Cinemax gave a profit of Rs 370/-, SAIL gave a profit of Rs 600/-, Tata Power gave a profit of Rs 1000/- and Reliance gave a profit of rs 2500 for every 100 shares purchased as per recommendation.
2. Dalal street recap: The market has to be above 5000 level for the Nifty to ensure return of volume and investor confidence. Positive monsoon news can propel the market and in that scenario it may touch 5500 level on the Nifty. If Nifty sustains above 5040 than one will see positive direction in market.
3. Company News: Venugopal Dhoot, CMD of Videocon Industries stated that the company has investment plans for Rs 2000 crore in 3 years. He further stated that company plans to have 60 stores in 5 years and 5 new stores by 2008-end. I admire Mr Venugopal Dhoot who has expanded so much that even Prime Minister once on a visit to China asked him that he was standing in wrong side of reception for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh where as he stated that he was correctly positioned as he was receiving him as Chinese corporator and entrepreneur by virtue of his group presence in China.
