1. Though this information is delayed but will be of use for all the new entrants of the stock market and is related to Pan card number as PAN is mandatory for all the entities / persons transacting in the capital market with effect from January 1, 2007.
2. Now one will not be able to op-en an account with the depositories and Exchanges until one is in posession of the Pan card as SEBI is very strict on these issues.
3. PAN details of any of the Sole or Joint Holders will be suffice to open an account for trading in Indian stock market.
