1. The market has closed on a good note today as Sensex closed at 18,115, up 348 points from the previous close which is a healthy sign and it is just short of the magic figure by 385 points i.e. if 18500 is maintained one can expect a bull run.
2. Nifty closed the day at 5302, up 100 points.
3. All the other sectors also showed the same up trend. CNX Midcap index ended the day 2.3% higher. BSE Smallcap index was also up 2.3%.
4. The list of the top gainers on the Sensex included Hindalco, Tata Steel and Bajaj Auto, while losers included Maruti Suzuki, Grasim and TCS.
