1. Gold can be considered as an investment as well as a means to appease your wife. Gold has appreciated reasonably as I can recall buying gold at 4000 levels around 8 years back during my marriage in 1999 and now the same is quoting at 10000+ mark.
2,. Thus we can safely assume that gold price has appreciated to almost double with in a span of 5 years each as per the data of past 8 years.
3. Do have a look at the gold chart daily to understand the trend of market as these days each price has an impact on stock market.
