1. I read an interesting article in Economic times regarding the origin of word SENSEX and same has been attributed to Mr Deepak Mohoni who earlier used this word as an acronymn for Sensitive Idex and shortened the same to a single word as SENSEX.
2. He used this word while writing in his articles for the newspapers. Now BSE is contemplating to patent SENSEX as a word as it has billion dollar valuation atleast.
3. So can Mr Deepak Mohoni file a claim for the word Sensex? Now only time can tell whether Mr Deepak goes for filing of the patent for the said word.
