How to protect Long Term Profit in a Euphoric Market

1. I know a number of people must be sitting on huge profits in case they have been able to hold for a long time. Now is the key to protect the profit and the same can be done by placing a sell order 10% lower price than the all time high of the price.

2. For example if one is having a stock and it has achieved its life time high as Rs 500 than one must exit if stock closes below 450.

3. This way one will be able to protect his profit in a Euphoric market. One can keep on revising this target as and when stock achieves another higher life time high or say a 52 week high.

4. Protection of capital is important and it becomes all the more important to protect one's profit else the feeling of guilt sets in the mind.
