How Can We Help Uttarakhand Victims?

The God’s agony can occur anywhere as it is beyond human control except in some cases like Uttarakhand which occurred due to deforestation and we need to take a lesson from it. We will not get into finger pointing mode but will tell you a way to help the victims of the region as they are our brethren who needs your help.

Nonetheless we as citizens of India has an opportunity to help the Uttarakhand victims by sending the relief material and deptt of post has come forward to send your packets free of cost till 20 July 2013. Please note that the package should not be more than 35 KGs and you need to get it sent to the Head Post office of your city.

Full marks to Indian Post for coming forth with such a novel gesture as it will be collecting the relief material from the general public / institutions / agencies /NGO free of postage and dispatch the same to Uttarakhand State as a goodwill gesture.

Let us all get together and do our bit as Google has also done its bit by coming with a crisis map of affected area in Uttarakhand and it has provided information on real time to the users.
