In September 2025, Adani Ports handled 41.6 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, an impressive 11% year-on-year growth. Container volumes stood out with a sharp 14% YoY increase, showing resilient demand for containerized trade.

H1 FY26 cargo performance

For the first half of FY26, the company set a new record by moving 244.2 MMT of cargo, representing 11% growth YoY. Container volumes surged by 20% YoY, marking the highest pace of expansion in recent years and highlighting strong trade linkages.

Rail logistics expansion

Rail volumes further strengthened the company’s integrated logistics model. In September 2025, Adani Ports moved 60,640 TEUs by rail, up 22% YoY. For H1 FY26, rail volumes hit an all-time high of 358,406 TEUs, growing 15% YoY.

GPWIS volume trend

The GPWIS (general purpose wagon investment scheme) volumes were stable. September 2025 saw 1.63 MMT handled, nearly flat YoY, while H1 FY26 registered 10.98 MMT, up 3% YoY.
