Renaissance Jewellery is engaged in the business of manufacturing studded jewelry. It was incorporated as a private limited company on December 04, 1989 and was converted into a public limited company with the current name on December 20, 2005. The company manufactures studded gold, platinum and silver jewelry using polished diamonds, precious and other semi-precious stones. The product portfolio includes rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, and other jewelry. It has two manufacturing units located at SEEPZ, a SEZ in Mumbai, and one unit in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, registered as export oriented units. These units have a combined capacity to manufacture over 100,000 pieces a month. The product development team of 40 designers works in a modern design studio with a state-of-the-art CAD/CAM facility developing about 400 new designs every month. Over the last 10 years, the company has developed a portfolio which provides a range of choices to the customers. Wal-Mart awarded the company Supplier of the Year for 2004 and Rio Tinto Diamonds conferred it with the Business Excellence Model (BEM) certification. Renaissance Retail Venture, a 100% subsidiary of the company will establish a retail chain in India consisting of 25 stores across India. Verigold Fine Jewellery is the other subsidiary of the company. The company`s products are sold to retail chains or distributors having distribution networks, who in turn sell it to the end customers. USA is the largest market for the company. It is looking to expand its customer base to the EU countries and Japan and to other parts of the world including India.
