Plastiblends India (PLASTIBL), incorporated on Jan. 22, 1991, is engaged in the manufacture of master batches, compounds, blends, alloys, and other products for the plastics industry. It is part of the Kolsite group, a leader in the manufacture of extrusion plants and master batches in the Indian plastics industry. Kabra Extrusiontechnik and Maharashtra Plastic & Industries are other group companies. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company produces over 500 products constituting the range of white, black, color, additive master batches and polywhites. Over 250 standard colors are offered suitable for all major processing methods and compatible with polyolefins like polyethylene and polypropylene, high-impact polystyrene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and other materials. The manufacturing units are located at Daman in the Union Territory of Daman & Diu and at Roorkee in Uttar Pradesh with a total installed capacity of 40,000 MTPA master batches. The Plastics Export Promotion Council awarded the company a certificate as the largest exporter of master batches from India for the financial years 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. Major customers include polymer manufacturers like Reliance, IPCL, GAIL and polymer processors including Supreme Industries, Cosmo Films and Garware Polyesters.
