Nifty has a strong support at 5090 levels and if this level is broken than one can see a fall of immediate  25 points. It has been seen that 5050 is acting as a good support for the index. Presently consolidation is in progress and thus do not blindly short till the time Nifty breaks 5000 psychological barrier on the lower side.

On option front, implied volatility has further increased by around 200-300 basis points, pointing towards uncertainty at higher levels and thus please note that volatility is expected to prevail ahead of derivative contract expiry on Thursday.

Today Share Market
The bourses slipped  as traders took profits in metal, FMCG and oil/gas stocks ahead of the expiry of current month derivative contracts on Thursday. Weak global cues before the release of crucial economic reports in the U.S also kept market undertone subdued.  As a net result  BSE Sensex closed at 17,131, down 49 points or 0.29% and the S&P CNX Nifty fell 13 points or 0.25% to 5,091.

• The National Stock Exchange has joined the fast-growing 'Twitterati' club, and to start with the bourse has begun posting live quotes of its benchmark index Nifty on the micro-blogging website Twitter."To start with, it's a live ticker of Nifty only, but it will change over the time. Through Twitter, an investor can be in touch with the market," the official said.Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters.
• Twitter just announced a partnership with LinkedIn. The integration of Twitter now added the ability to seamlessly post LinkedIn status updates to Twitter and vice-versa.
