Warning: Do Not Invest in Raj Oil Mills IPO


Raj Oil Mills is coming with Indian public offer (IPO) wef July 20 and has priced their issue between Rs. 100 to 120 per share for an issue with a face value of Rs 10 and IPO is offering 95 lakh equity shares.

However this is a warning that do not invest in this IPO as IPO pricing is very stiff and has very little scope for appreciation.

It will be better if one invests in KS Oils which is trading at 11 times multiple and Ruchi Soya which is trading at 8 times multiple and shows scope for appreciation as compared to this IPO.

Raj Oil Mills has brands such as Cocoraj (coconut and ayurvedic oil) and Guinea refined oil (edible oils spanning groundnut, sunflower, mustard, cottonseed and soyabean) and has considerable demand in western regions but has been priced at 12-14.5 times multiple which is like stealing retail investor hard earned money.
